David Yust
1939 - Present
David was born in Wichita, KS. He received his BFA (1963) Painting - University of Kansas and his MFA (1969) Painting - University of Oregon. He also studied Aeronautical Engineering at Wichita State University from 1957-1959; and Architecture at Kansas State University from 1959-1961. He was a Professor of Art at Colorado State University from 1965 to 2012. He was selected as Colorado Art Education Association's Art Educator of the Year in 2003. He is best known for his abstract circular images.
