Gabriel Greenlaw
Gabriel Greenlaw is an award-winning artist who currently lives and works in the North Bay area of California. He received his BFA, summa cum laude, in Glass and Glass Sculpture from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014, where he studied with David Schnuckel, Michael Rogers, and Robin Cass. His work is frequently exhibited and was most recently included in the Academy Center of the Arts’ Annual National Juried Art Exhibition, Lynchburg, VA, as well as a solo exhibition of his most current work at the Alexander Brest Gallery and Museum in Jacksonville, FL. Before his move to the west coast, he was the Artist in Residence at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Tennessee for two years where he continued to refine this designs and craft. In addition to pursuing his own work, he has taught several workshops and curated an exhibition at the ACC that focused on glass and technology while also serving on the Board of Directors of the state wide art organization, Tennessee Craft. Along side his sculptural interests, he has developed several limited run production lines of functional vessels that are found in galleries and shows across the county.
