Gayi Soori

Gayi Soori is a London-based artist working in ceramics, print and moving image. Born in 1982 in Essex to Sri Lankan parents, Gayi trained and worked as a dentist until she chose a new path in the visual arts. Gayi graduated with a first class honours BA in Ceramic Design from Central Saint Martins in 2020. She was shortlisted for the Dean’s Collection Prize for her multi-media work Limulus |Talos and was highlighted as a graduate to watch by online magazine ‘Something Curated’. Gayi has had work selected for Future Edit, an exhibition by the Craft Council and the current RA Summer Exhibition.
