Jan Is De Man

Janis De Man is a Dutch Graffiti artist who is full of surprises. His work varies in inspiration and techniques. He has been creating masterpieces on the walls of Europe since 1997. One of his latest creations to date, an immense library bringing together the favourite books of the inhabitants of Utrecht (Netherlands) and produced with Deef Feed, has attracted a lot of attention. Janis De man does not follow the stereotype of a graffiti artist —working in abandoned buildings and walls in the dead of night. He is able to create on the walls of the street and inside homes. He aims to create projects ‘where everyone can identify themselves by asking for the involvement of the residents’ who commission him.
