Manu Luksch

1970 - Present

Manu Luksch is an artist, researcher and filmmaker whose work interrogates technological notions of progress and the regulation of public space, time, autonomy and identity in a hyper-connected world. Her widely acclaimed speculative fiction film FACELESS (2002-07), narrated by Tilda Swinton and part of the Collection Centre Pompidou, pioneered the notion of ‘legal readymades’ by appropriating data protection legislation into a process for filmmaking. Her works are shown at venues and festivals internationally.
