Nick Dante Vaccaro
1931 - 2002
Nick was born in Youngstown, OH. He received his BA (1958) - University of Washington, Seattle and his MFA (1960) - University of California, Berkley. He also studied at Youngstown University. He was a Professor of Art at University of Kansas from 1963-1995; and Chairman of the Drawing & Painting Department from 1963-1967. He also taught art and architecture at the University of Texas, Austin. His work is found in the the collections of: Museum of Fine Arts, Montgomery; Baker University; University of California; and Butler Institute of American Art. He passed away in 2002 in Lawrence, KS.
