Theodor Jung

1906 - 1996

Born in Austria, Theodor Jung spent his professional life in the United States, working as a photographer and later as an art director. He was one of the first photographers hired by Roy Stryker to document rural life during the Great Depression under the auspices of the U.S. government's Farm Security Administration, but he left the project after a single year.
