The Clash: London Calling - 16 Tons tour jacket

For the 1980 16 Tons tour, blue and dark red Harrington jackets were produced as merchandise. Photographs by Pennie Smith of the backline roadie Barry 'The Baker' August, road manager Johnny Green and tour DJ Scratchy were published in The Armagideon Times 2. The jackets also featured in the video filmed by Don Letts for the band's single Bankrobber, released in August 1980.
