Ceiling paper

Large medallions feature line-work crosses with stylized blossoms at finials and intersections. These larger medallions alternate with quatrefoil blossoms as well as smaller, octagonal medallions outlined by c-scrolls. Medallions and blossoms are printed on top of an allover diaper pattern. The simple outlines of the medallions and textured look of the diapered background make the pattern resemble an embroidered sampler. Pattern is printed in gold, green and tan on a khaki ground.
