Design for a painted porcelain plate, rondel. Outdoor scene under a mulberry tree. A figure of a woman holding a baset of mulberries, center middleground, admonishes a young girl who has gotten stains on her dress. A seated woman, center foreground, carefully feeds mulberries to a kneeling child. A child has climbed the tree to pick mulberries, two other children play beneath the tree. In the right margin of sheet, a graphite sketch of a child holding her dirty apron. Verso: a graphite sketch of a standing woman, her basket of mulberries on a stone wall, scolding a child with a dirty apron.
