Designs and Sketches for a Mausoleum

A pyramid contains the octagonal sepulchral chamber which is accessible through four corridors. These project from the pyramid, as is shown in a sketch of the elevation, and in a section, above, at left. They do not project in a sketched plan, below, at left, and in a plan showing double colonnades surrounding the pyramid on three sides, center top. Center: an elevation. A Doric colonnade with statues upon a parapet, borders the platform which is reached by stairs, flanked by parapets with altars. Above at right: an elevation. A colonnade with pavilions at the corners surrounds the pyramid. Slightly colored background.
