Dressing gown (2009.13)

Royal blue wool dressing gown with black velvet ribbon trim. Princess line, the front seams emphasized with three rows of velvet trim extending a point at middle of center back, up to shoulders, and down the front, narrowing at waist, and flaring with skirt to hem. Black velvet-covered buttons extend all the way down center front. Standing collar trimmed at top and bottom with black piping. Coat sleeves with deep cuffs, the cuff edges trimmed with two rows of black velvet ribbon. Patch pockets trimmed with two rows of black velvet ribbon in V shape echoing shape of cuffs.
