Ecotones

For me a recent discovery has been ecotones.

Ecotones are edges where 2 adjacent communities merge and collaborate and from that meeting; abundance peaks in a rich biodiversity of species richer than either community.

To me an affirmation of the power of co creation and that the sum of the parts is greater than the whole

I chose to exemplify this in a wetland scene as wetlands are so often abundant with life.
