A Street Scene in Cologne

The roads depicted are the Trankgasse and Unter fetten Hennen. Cologne Cathedral is seen from the north-west in the unfinished state in which it remained until 1842. In the 18th century, this picture belonged to two great French collectors, the duc de Choiseul and the prince de Conti.
