This papyrus contains portion of the journal of the Necropolis, which is the daily report on the progress of work in the royal tomb in the Valley of the Kings, and of events concerning the community of the workmen. The part displayed here records the main events that occurred during the short reign of Ramesses X, at the end of the New Kingdom.
