Behind the gap on the left a tall sign-post; to the left two children and two dogs (one seated). Above the right of the gap a group of five children with 2 more peering over a slope. From mid left to lower mid right the line of a slope runs downwards. From the left a tree a row of small buildings form a line in the middle distance. Next to the end house on the right a telegraph pole & the gable-end of a further terrace/detached building.
