Model Shield, Spear Case, and Spears
Egyptian soldiers going into battle carried spears and protected themselves with shields. This model shield, a model spear case, and seven model spears are faithful reproductions of Egyptian military equipment. The shield is painted to imitate cow-hide reinforced at the edges with a strip of rawhide, here indicated in red paint.
