Mogens Skeel was a writer and assumed to be behind the satirical drama "The Count's and Baron's Comedy", an impression of the resentment that circles in the old Danish nobility felt towards the newly established "nobility of officials", which had arisen with the introduction of absolute monarchy in 1660.
