Hollow cut silhouette of Moses Standley. Cut white paper on a piece of black fabric. The sitter faces the viewer's left. The hair is drawn on with a pencil. Blue ink is used to decorate the coat collar and lapels. Above the head, written in ink is "August 30th, 1835." Below the likeness is written in ink: "Moses Standley/ Aged 48."

Housed in a black, period frame with three rows of beading mold.

Provenance Narrative Originally owned by Moses Standley. Descended through the family to the donor.
