Crocheted miser's purse, dark purple silk with beading only on the squared and rounded ends; all the beads are cut steel. The fringe is located on the squared end in a macramé geometric design that measures 1.5 inches deep. The opening slit is 5 inches long. On the rounded end is one tassel composed of a metal ball with tiny chains that end in weights of pierced arrow design. The tassel measures 1.25 inches. Two rings, which slide back and forth to control the opening, have pierced lozenge design.
