The Stock Exchange, London

The London Stock Exchange, a centre of financial trading, is located in the City of London.

Jordan depicts the iconic hustle and bustle of the trading floor as it appeared in the mid-1960s, when business was booming.

In 1967 work began on new accommodation and, in 1972, the Stock Exchange relocated from this Victorian building in Capel Court (now demolished) to larger premises at 125 Broad Street. In 2004, the Stock Exchange relocated again to its current premises in Paternoster Square, once again reflecting the changing demands of financial trading.
