My works research digital and virtual absurdity, by evoking our dependency on technology. The paintings represent surreal environments based on 3D softwares re-embodying virtual objects (ideas), while my sculptures/installations investigate the technological evolution of our hardware (bodies). By fusing objects and displacing them, the work creates narratives of Utopian and Dystopian futures. Most recently through the means of an Augmented Reality App, I'm expanding the paintings as virtual sculptures. The world is becoming more digital and the way we communicate is changing but is it the best way to talk about our feelings?
