THE SHOW WINDOWS: REFLECTIONS

British Museum curated by Positive Choices

On this tour, you will view a series of artworks from the British Museum that are being displayed across Coventry’s City Arcade shop windows through The Show Windows: Reflections project. Curated by local charity, Positive Choices, this exhibition brings contemporary artworks into this post-war shopping arcade, asking visitors to stop and reflect on Coventry today. It is an exhibition of artworks that was created by and for the people of City Arcade.

At each tour stop, you will be able to read interpretations of the artwork from the curators of this public exhibition, the women from Positive Choices, and British Museum. These will all give insight into the artwork, the reason it was selected and how it relates to post-war Coventry and themes of hope, reconciliation and reinvention.
