Cary Conover

Cary Conover was born in Wichita, KS and received his BFA in 1996 from Kansas State University, majoring in journalism and mass communication. He received a Master's in Education from Emporia State University in 2013. He received a MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021. He worked for the Monroe Evening News in Monroe, MI from 1996-2000. In 2000, he began a freelance career in New York City, working with clients such as The New York Times and The Village Voice. He moved back to Wichita in 2010 and is a photo-journalism instructor at Andover High School. He is also an adjunct instructor of photography at Newman University and he lives in Wichita, KS.
