Eyenga Bokamba

Abstract painter and writer Eyenga Bokamba is based in Minneapolis, working in her studio and gallery space, Future Tense. Her colorful works on paper, paintings and light boxes invite reflection with an intention to acknowledge what it means to be alive. Bokamba, University of Minnesota and Harvard University Graduate School of Education alum, expands, “I create what I want to see in the world. I am preoccupied with layers, translucence, vibrant resonance and preserving the intuitive artistic process.”
