Garry L. Rich

Garry was born in Arkansas City, KS. He received his BFA - Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA - New York University. In addition to being a full-time artist, he taught at NYU and Hofstra and Bard College. He was a member of the Visiting Artists Collaborative (VAC), a group of artists whose members included Ree Morton, Elke Solomon and Jeff Way. The group traveled the country giving workshops, exhibitions and performances. He passed away in 2016 in New York, NY.
