James Dearlove

James Dearlove (b. 1970) is a graduate of Turps Banana Art School, Slade School of Fine Art (MA Fine Art) and UCL (BA English Literature). His recent exhibitions include 'Queer as Folklore', Gallery 46, London (2021); 'Burra and Friends', Rye Art Gallery (2021); The Discerning Eye, Mall Galleries, London (2020); and the RA Summer Exhibition, London (2019). In 2020 Dearlove was longlisted for the Jackson Painting Prize and shortlisted for Bloomberg New Contemporaries. His recent solo show 'The Garden Room' opened in October 2021 at Nine Elms Gallery, London.
