Ken Buhler

Ken Buhler was born in Newton, KS. His family lived in Wichita until he was 13 and then they moved to Iowa. His father taught at Wichita Southeast High School. He received his BFA from the University of Iowa and his MFA from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. He was an Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute (1995-2000). He is an artist in residence in the Studio Arts Program at Bard College, where he has taught since 2000. He lives and works in Brooklyn and in Masonville, NY.
