Peregrine Honig

1976 - Present

Peregrine Honig was born in San Francisco, CA. She attended the Kansas City Art Institute. She moved to Kansas City at 17 to attend KCAI and has stayed in the community. At 22, she was the youngest living artist to have work acquired by the Whitney Museum of Art. Her work is in many private and public collections including the Art Institute of Chicago, Yale University, Fogg Art Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum and others. She is the founder and program director of Greenwood Social Hall, a renovated Black Baptist Church in the Westside of Kansas City, MO.
