Blue-and-Black Glazed Dish with Arabesque Motifs

A dark-blue dish has a shallow open center and sits on a short, glazed foot. Inside the dish are black and white arabesque spirals and cusped medallions that join at center to form a cruciform motif. The black motifs are of undulating form enhanced by small white geometric patterns along the edges. Similar patterning is featured on the reverse.
