Attitude

"A vibrant yellow sculpture with an overarching black hoop that has attitude. My sculpture creates an illusion of movement, or of a moment captured in time, as it appears never to be firmly rooted but to be teetering perilously on its edge while leaning tremulously. I create this sense of movement by looping a clay strips above and around the work, softening the stark shapes and providing a counterpoint to the structured architectural forms."
