King Christian X’s ride across the old border, 10 July 1920
Christian X began the festivities in connection with the Reunification by riding across the old border by Taps south of Kolding. To fulfil a South Jutland prophecy, the king chose a white horse for the ride. Shortly after, he brought a little girl up onto the horse.
