Design for a painted porcelain plate or serving vessel, rondel. Scene in mountains of Central Asia. A man, left center foreground, shovels ice into a bucket which is suspended from the back of a donkey held by a woman attendant. Another man in a crouching position, left foreground, gathers a tray of ice with his right hand. Two people lead a donkey down the mountain side, right middleground.
