Probably a piece of a no robe. Fine close all-over design of foliage (bamboo, peach, pine, etc.) and various emblems (cane, tortoise, flaming pearl, straw cape, hat, etc.) closely set on tobacco brown ground (octagonally orange). Embroidered in shades of orange, green, and white in various satin and laid stitches. Couched gold.
