Have you ever been burned to the ground and had to make your way back up? The ‘Shack Rats’ of the Journalism school collected their resources and went into their shacks until they created something incredible: The Daily Emerald. This student ran newspaper shared up and coming events around campus and become one the most influential sources of information for University of Oregon faculty and students since the first issue.

This was commissioned through Oregon’s Percent for Art in Public Places Program, managed by the Oregon Arts Commission.
