Little Campbell's Soup Can (Consommé)

"I used to drink Campbell's Soup. I used to have the same lunch every day for twenty years." -Andy Warhol With these words, Andy Warhol revealed the powerful connection between art and life. A former commercial illustrator, he was fascinated with popular culture. His television was on 24 hours a day, and he was keenly aware of marketing strategies that promoted products-from Campbell's Soup to actress Marilyn Monroe-and made them celebrities for mass consumption.
