Mummy of a baboon

Mummy of a baboon sitting with its hands resting on its knees, encrusted with sand, chert pebbles, bits of limestone, gravel (seat and back of the body), matrix cut out (by sharp tool?). Wrapped up in linen of different qualities, covered with resinous material and coated with dark substance. Another resinous substance covers the mummy. Baboon's yellow fur visible on the neck. Vertical inscription in yellow paint on the baboon's lap. It is a juvenile (2,5-4-year-old) baboon. The skeleton is incomplete, only tail and portions of upper and lower limbs present.
