Pair of double doors

The decoration of these double doors is closely related to that of the doors in the Salon de la Chapelle, or the Chapel Room, on the second floor of Versailles, carved by Jules Degoullons (ca. 1671–1737) and his associates in 1710. Given the similarities, it is thought that these doors were formerly at Versailles as well, but it has not been possible to establish a precise location.
