The Clash: London Calling - Paul Simonon's Fender Precision bass guitar

In September 1979, The Clash appeared for two nights at the Palladium in New York as part of their Take the 5th tour. Paul Simonon smashed his Fender P Bass at the end of the show on Thursday 20 September. The photograph Pennie Smith shot that night was used for the cover of London Calling.
