Pitcher (79.29.2)

Porcelain vase shaped pitcher with a high arched handle and a corrugated, molded band around the bottom. The pitcher is decorated with sepia landscapes on each side. The base of the pitcher has a band of gold. Another band of gold at the top rim, and a band circles the pitcher below the spout. The center of the handle also has a band of gold.

Tucker's wares in both form and decoration copied contemporary French prototypes popular in the US at the time.
