Plate from the Service des arts industriels: The Floral Gardener (Jardinier Fleuriste)

The center painted with a botanist and other figures in a commercial nursery, a cold flat to one side signed and dated by the artist, at the front, above a gilt plaque inscribed Jardinier Fleuriste, the gros bleu rim heightened in gilt bands, florettes, trelliswork, and laurel branches, printed interlaced L's, a fleur-de-lys, Sevres, and the numeral 21 mark in blue, inscribed 30 nov.20.P in green and a further inscription in gold, incised DC 90-8.
