The beautiful Salamander was created by Gaudi as part of the Park Güell, a large park in the hills above Barcelona. Gaudi designed the entire park, making it one of the largest architectural works in Europe. The Salamander is commonly called “El Drac,” meaning ‘The Dragon’.
