Horizontal section of coarse natural linen painted on one side with fragmentary medium- scale symmetrical design of bunch of three carnations (?) alternating with single large flower-head; smaller floral sprigs in interstices. Red, yellow, white, green and blue on black ground. One plain selvedge. Two French seams in linen.
