The ‘Snake’ or ‘Cobra’ pot was one of the six initial designs that Mary registered with the Board of Trade on 14 May 1903. It was made using the characteristic bright red clay from the Limnerslease estate. As a 1904 Liberty & Co. advertisement reveals, this popular design was available in a range of sizes.
