Social Distancing Gloves
"COVID 19 has made us all hyper-aware of what and who we touch. We now choreograph our bodies differently when negotiating spaces and interactive social norms have radically changed. People have had to learn to recondition their touch responses and bodies in a new way. In response, I made these “social distancing gloves” which are conjoined gloves that facilitate holding hands while maintaining social distance of one metre. These giant gloves have cushion insides, so when walking your hand is warm, and you can squeeze the insides of the gloves to obtain the comforting feeling of intimacy from afar."
