Does this black "door" lead inside or outside? Is it attached to a building or does it stand somehow on its own? Grant Mudford focuses on an odd detail in the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House: the back of a signpost. Cropping this scene to exclude familiar architectural details of the famous building, Mudford creates a baffling documentary image.
