Vase with Floral Medallions

The floral scrolls in Qing-dynasty artworks, including the delicately incised designs that fill the crimson surface of this vase as well as the bolder white flowers above them, were most likely inspired by patterns found in textiles. The four floral roundels at the center also suggest the influence of textile designs.
