John Graham Gilbert

Full-length marble sculpture of Scottish portrait painter and art collector John Graham Gilbert portrayed as a middle aged Victorian gentleman with curly hair and sideburns. He is wearing suit with long jacket and waistcoat over shirt with bowtie. He is holding his artistic attributes, palette in left and a brush in right hand. Signed and dated "Wm Brodie Rsa Sc 1870", inscribed "John Graham-Gilbert Rsa Wsa".
