Huge congratulations to our Head of XR, Dr Ray Holder, for winning the Future Leaders Award at the 2025 Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Awards!
The KTP Awards celebrate the most outstanding people, projects, and collaborations driving innovation across the UK.
Ray has been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of immersive storytelling at Smartify.
Through our KTP partnership with the University of the West of Scotland (CCT), Ray applied his creativity and leadership to develop key XR infrastructure that now enables us to deliver innovative experiences for leading cultural heritage institutions.
“The KTP with UWS CCT enabled Smartify to invest in XR and bring new experiences to our partners,” Ray said. ”The success of the KTP shows how effective it can be when talent, research and industry align. I am grateful to both teams for their commitment and support. This award belongs to everyone who contributed to that shared goal.”
Well done to Ray, and to everyone involved in this collaboration!
