About the role
2025 is an exciting time to join Smartify’s growing team! We’re onboarding some incredible new partners and our marketing channels are in a period of high growth. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help us deliver engaging, effective campaigns for both Smartify and our partners. You’ll get to dig into some amazing arts and culture stories every day to produce social media, email, push and in-app content for huge audiences around the world. Our customer engagement platform allows us to reach arts and culture fans like never before, and you’ll be at the forefront of these communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the Head of Marketing to deliver campaigns for our partner organisations. This will include managing new requests, campaign ideation and content production. You’ll also be sharing and celebrating our partner success stories through B2B communications.
- Providing proactive and reactive social media, email, push and in-app content for our customer-facing channels to drive audience growth and engagement.
- Working with our Content team to promote the audio-visual tours we produce for museums and art galleries to Smartify users.
- Growing and managing our community of arts and culture enthusiasts by initiating conversations and bringing artists and creators to the fore.
- Using analytics tools to evaluate the performance of content and campaigns, and applying learnings to optimise these going forward.
What we’re looking for:
- A love for everything art. We’re all culture geeks at Smartify, so this is essential!
- A creative mind. Our social media, email, push and in-app notifications need to be best in class, and we’ll be looking to you to come up with ideas that can deliver great results for us and our partners. You’ll need to have worked on consumer digital marketing campaigns before.
- An analytical mindset. You’ll be able to spot what’s working and what’s not, and be able to communicate this clearly to both colleagues and our partners.
- Confidence when talking to external stakeholders. Our partners are some of the most iconic cultural institutions in the world, and you’ll be helping them get the most out of Smartify.
- A keen eye for detail. You’ll be able to write clearly and accurately, and spot any typos straight away!
- A positive, can-do attitude. As a fast-paced company building something really special, you’ll be expected to get stuck in! You’ll need to come up with creative solutions to any problems you encounter.
- Effective planning and organisational skills. You’ll be able to manage different work streams and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- A willingness to learn. We don’t expect you to know everything straight away, and you’ll be supported by a team of experienced marketing, sales, content and design professionals to help you grow.
What we’d also like to see (but isn’t essential):
- Experience of using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and Customer.io or a similar CRM/CDP platform
- Experience of working or volunteering in a marketing capacity within the arts and culture and/or tech sectors
